Entertaining Terrace - Southborough

A house built on a steep slope with limited access dominated this project. Some terracing had already been undertaken, albeit a number of years ago, using old fashioned materials. The client wanted a much larger entertaining space, involving more terracing and walls. They also wanted a contemporary look. So we used sawn sandstone paving, new European oak sleepers, cedar strip panelling and painted rendered walls. We also created some interesting lighting effects to help extend the use of the garden and bring the whole scheme up to date.
