Moroccan-Inspired Show Garden Design by Gardenproud

A Bespoke Garden Design in Just 5m x 4.8m

cWhat can you achieve in just 5m x 4.8m? Quite a lot, as it turns out — especially with award-winning garden designer George Sykes at the helm.

Created for Corker Outdoor Living’s prestigious Paddock Wood outdoor exhibition, this show garden was designed to inspire homeowners and showcase Gardenproud’s expertise in bespoke garden design and outdoor buildings that work together in perfect harmony.

Designed Around the Architecture of Marrakech

George’s vision was a Moroccan Arbor and courtyard garden — a concept rooted in deep research into the architecture, building techniques, and sensory atmosphere of Marrakech’s iconic Riads and alleyways.

The result is a masterpiece of garden design and craftsmanship. Authentically detailed and beautifully built, every element tells a story — from the hand-selected materials to the carefully considered planting scheme.

A Garden Building for Every Homeowner

This isn’t just a show garden — it’s a blueprint for what’s possible in your own outdoor space.

A Moroccan-inspired garden building like this can serve many purposes: a tranquil reading retreat, a stylish garden room alongside a contemporary swimming pool, a creative studio, or simply a beautiful focal point that adds real character and value to your home. Whatever your vision, Gardenproud can bring it to life.

Step Inside the Moroccan Courtyard Garden

Step past a dramatic Trachycarpus fortunei palm, over a cool mosaic water feature, up limestone steps flanked by striking Phormium tenax, across a Breedon gravel courtyard, and into a Balau-floored garden building complete with cushioned seating.

Come rain or shine, this is a space that transports you somewhere better. We defy you not to be inspired.
